Links to Places I Visit Online
This page is always under construction. I add things now and then, and if you have any suggestions on links I should include, by all means let me know! -- Jill
ABC News Poll: Gary Langer's excellent surveys cover news, politics, and consumer confidence. Gary provides an ongoing conversation which is always interesting, thought provoking, and sometimes controversial, at his blog "The Numbers"
Washington Post Polls: Insightful surveys under the watchful eye of John Cohen, and another good blog "Behind the Numbers" kept up by Cohen and his colleague Jennifer Agiesta.
CalBuzz: Phil Trounstein and Jerry Roberts, journalists and politics-watchers, put together an excellent daily read - a busy, fast, and always informative page full of non-partisan coverage of California politics and public affairs. One of my daily must-reads.
LA Observed: Kevin Roderick's blog has been a must-read for me since its inception.
LA Weekly: The Weekly has never provided much more than a bus-stop read, but it is getting more interesting lately. I hardly ever pick it up anymore, but I do look at the website, and click a link here and there.
LA Times: A few good friends and a lot of people I don't know are keeping the newspaper humming along with a skeleton crew depite its chaotic financial situation and the seemingly endless venality of its owners. The Late, Great, Times Poll's archives are still there, although who knows for how long.
