Jill Darling, Founder of Jill E Darling Research.

Formerly the Associate Director of the award-winning Los Angeles Times Poll and the Times/Bloomberg Poll, Ms. Darling has a unique set of research experience and a wide range of survey, political, strategic, and media expertise.

Ms. Darling's analysis, strategy, and communications skills come from an academic background in mathematics, followed by two decades of research with the Los Angeles Times Poll, and even more recently, her move into independent research. Jill combines leadership and project managements skills with a thorough understanding of the practical, analytical, and creative aspects of survey and market research. Jill is also one of the very few independent researchers in private practice who have national, state and local election exit polling expertise.

"I've spent more than a decade working with Jill, on projects with long lead times and on crazy, snap-evaluation election nights, and her top-notch performance has never varied. She knows her numbers, but more, she can deliver crisp, clean and unfailingly dead-on analysis whatever the pressure and time constraints. She's the kind of political number-cruncher you want in a foxhole, especially when the stress is on."
